The Tempsford Renewable Energy Park

Welcome

Welcome to the website for Kier Property’s proposal Tempsford Renewable Energy Park on land south of the Tempsford village.  The scheme is proposing solar panels, an electric vehicle charging station and battery energy storage system.

Kier Property is working with REG Power to develop the site and is committed to working with the community to inform the design process for the renewable energy park. While they are currently at an early stage in the planning process they are currently holding a public consultation to receive feedback from local residents on the emerging plans to inform the final scheme.

On this website, you can find out more about the site, the emerging proposal and how to submit feedback.

Site Location

The site is approximately 30 hectares in size and is located on land adjacent to Tempsford Hall which is the previous headquarters of the Kier Group.  The site comprises a number of buildings surrounded by open fields which are bordered by well established and mature perimeter trees and hedgerows which help to screen the boundaries of the site.

The linear Tempsford village sits to the north, open land and woodland is to the east, the Tempsford Road public highway is to the south and St Neots Road is to the west, with the A1 (Great North Road) just beyond.
